Before You Buy
Buying Advice
Choosing equipment for a system can be a daunting experience. Going to a store means doing battle with pushy sales people that want to sell you expensive systems often without listening carefully to your requirements. Buying online puts you in control but without any real professional help or advice to get you the right stuff.
What to do?
Call us first. Installation Man is genuinely independent - we don't sell you your equipment. Call us first so we can help you find the very best kit for the best price online or in store.
We provide a FREE site survey which means we can meet you and actually see your home or workplace. We listen carefully to your requirements and use our professional experience to make recommendations based on what will actually work best in your room. Everyone's expectations are different - we can tailor a system to fit you and your budget.
You can then buy the kit yourself and book us in to install it for you.

TV Room
This installation was done for a TV script writer (we can't say who, but you will have enjoyed his amazing programmes!). We installed a 43'' Pioneer Plasma above a fireplace and chased all the cabling for the screen and speakers into the wall and back to a cabinet where the kit is hidden.
We wall-mounted the superb Mordaunt Short Speakers around the screen and discreetly at the back of the room for fantastic surround sound. The powerful sub is hidden behind the modified grill doors of the equipment cabinet. The system has SkyHD and DVD recorder as well as a specially encrypted DVD player for viewing those prerelease programme DVDs us mere mortals can't watch until the shows appear on TV! Everything is controlled from a Harmony remote that works through the cabinet doors and there is even an iPod dock cut flush into the shelf above the cabinet for easy access.
